Using the Academy

These customer terms are a working draft for the private testing period and will be reviewed before public distribution.

Your account

Keep your account access private and provide accurate information. Purchases, course progress, certificates, and community activity are connected to the signed-in customer account.

Lessons and digital materials

Purchased courses, patterns, printables, videos, and digital books are for the customer’s personal use. They may not be copied, resold, posted publicly, or distributed to others without written permission.

Physical products and orders

Printed books and other physical products will show their price, shipping needs, and order status. Final shipping, return, and refund details will be displayed before real customer payments are activated.

Learning and safety

Academy lessons are educational. Customers are responsible for following sewing-machine, tool, material, and manufacturer safety instructions and for supervising children appropriately.

Community participation

Members must follow the Community Guidelines. The Academy may edit, hide, close, or remove content and may restrict accounts that threaten safety or repeatedly disrupt the community.

Changes and support

Courses, features, and these terms may be updated as the Academy grows. Important changes will be communicated in the app. Questions can be sent through the private Support Center.
