Be kind and constructive
People arrive with different experience levels. Answer with patience, explain clearly, and encourage learning. Disagreement is allowed; insults, harassment, bullying, and personal attacks are not.
Keep posts useful and appropriate
Use clear titles, choose the closest category, and include only photographs you have permission to share. Keep discussions related to sewing, quilting, Academy courses, projects, tools, and helpful community topics.
Protect personal information
Do not post addresses, phone numbers, payment details, passwords, private messages, or another person’s personal information. Use private Academy Support for account and order questions.
Share safely
Do not recommend unsafe machine use, dangerous shortcuts, or products presented as guaranteed medical or safety solutions. Children should use machines, irons, cutters, and sharp tools only with appropriate adult supervision.
No spam or unauthorized selling
Do not post repeated promotions, scams, misleading links, or unrelated sales offers. Academy staff may remove promotional content that was not approved.
Report concerns
Use the Report control when a post or reply breaks these guidelines. Linda can review content, hide replies, close discussions, and restrict accounts when necessary.
